St. Brigid's Well . The holy well is about 500 metres from the rental cottage. The well is dedicated to St. Brigid, also known as "Mary of the Gael". Next to the holy well is a different sort of well. Two Public houses are side by side in walking distance to your accommodation. |

| Liscannor The Harbour Village of Liscannor is just 3 km from your rental accommodation. Its claim to fame is that John P. Holland, the inventor of the submarine, was born in 1841 here in this small town. It has some excellent pubs serving fresh seafood caught by local fishermen. |

The two championship golf courses have hosted all the major Irish championships, amateur and professional, down through the years. The town also offers a large beach suitable for bathing.
